Manabu Nagaoka possesses expertise in international co-productions, covering various sectors of the entertainment industry such as TV, film, animation, music, theater, digital media, fashion, branding/advertising, consumer products, theme parks, educational media, technologies, and social innovation and impact initiatives.
He holds a Master's degree in Education/TESOL from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in World Arts and Cultures from the University of California, Los Angeles. Currently, he is pursuing an Ed.M in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology at Harvard Graduate School of Education. Concurrently, he serves Sesame Workshop, the creator of Sesame Street, as Vice President, General Manager, and Executive Producer for its businesses in Japan, and as Head of Global EFL/SEL Programs.

彼はニューヨーク大学で教育学／TESOLの修士号を取得し、カリフォルニア大学ロサンゼルス校で世界の芸術と文化の学士号を取得。現在、ハーバード大学教育大学院で学習デザイン、イノベーション、技術の修士号（Ed.M）の取得を目指している。
また、セサミストリートの創造者であるセサミワークショップにおいて、日本でのビジネスを担当する副社長、ゼネラルマネージャー、エグゼクティブプロデューサーおよびグローバルEFL/SELプログラムの責任者を兼任している。

 

佐藤 愛（さとう　あい）Ai Satou

2010年キリンホールディングスに入社。
入社時から新規事業につながる技術開発と、研究所運営の企画業務に従事。
2019年、明治大学 宮下芳明研究室と「減塩食の味わいを増強する電気味覚研究」の共同研究を開始。同年キリン社内の新規事業コンテストに応募し、事業化に向けたプロジェクトとして始動 。
2024年5月に減塩食の味わいを増強する機器「エレキソルト」発売開始。「おいしい食事のある人生を、すべての人に。」を基本の考え方として、食をより楽しむためのツールとしてエレキソルトを届けられるよう、技術改良と事業運営に邁進している。

She joined Kirin Holdings in 2010.
Ever since she started working there, she has been engaged in technology development that leads to new business and planning processes of research institute management.
In 2019, she began a joint research with Professor Yoshaki Miyashita's lab from Meiji University on "Electro-Taste Research that Enhances the Flavor of Low Salt Foods." In the same year, she applied for a new business contest held by Kirin intra-company and started as a project aimed at commercialization.
In May 2024, she launched the "Electric Salt," a device designed to enhance the flavor of a reduced-salt diet. With the principle "life with delicious meals for everyone," she has devoted herself to technological improvements and business operations so that she can hand over Electric Salt as a tool to enjoy food more.

作曲家／音楽プロデューサー・起業家。

楽曲『ベイビー・アイラブユー』は、シェネルをはじめ国内外の多くのアーティストにカバーされ総計1000万ダウンロードを超える大ヒットに。
また安室奈美恵に提供した『Hero』は、2019年JASRAC賞金賞受賞。グローバルな音楽活動と並行しながら、Gigi（株）では食を通じた社会課題の解決に取り組む。
境町で展開されているふるさと納税を活用した『こどもごちめし』は、官民一体で取り組む子どもの食の支援として内閣府からも表彰された。

Musical piece "Baby I love you" is covered by a lot of domestic and foreign artists including Che’Nell.
The song was downloaded more than 10 million times in total and it's a big hit.
"Hero" was offered to Namie Amuro and won the JASRAC gold award in 2019.
He is grappling with the solution to social problems through the meal at Gigi Inc. in parallel with global music activity.
“Kodomo gochimeshi " utilizes hometown tax in Sakaimachi and the activity was commended by Cabinet Office as a support of the meal for children through joint efforts of public and private sectors

宇土の大太鼓文化を世界に発信するとともに、太鼓の持つ可能性を多角的に追求し社会に対して広く伝え、人と人とを太鼓の響きでつなげることを目的としている。

2017年 ゆず20周年コンサート『ハレブタイ』出演
宇土大太鼓の持つ伝統・歴史を自分たちの根源として、再創造し、世界に発信していく。

私たちの在り方
私たち紬衣は太鼓の響きで人と人の魂をつなげていく存在でありたい。
紬衣とは、さまざまな太さの糸があることで強くなる「紬」
「ゆい」の読みは地域協働組織を意味する「結」を由来とする。
かつて日本中にあった結は、生きるためのつながり。
絆を確かめ合うことのできる心のよりどころだった。
同じ時代に生き、奇跡的に集まった仲間と共に、おもしろがってものをつくりたい。
その根底は「くらす」「つくる」「まなぶ」
地に足をつけた生活をおくり
自分の手で素材に触れ、物を作り、音にする
常に変革・探求をくりかえす
生活が舞台となり、喜びになる。
紬衣はそんな場所でありたいと願う。

The taiko drum performance group based in Uto City, Kumamoto Prefecture, aims to introduce the Uto Big Drum culture to the world, pursue the potential of taiko drum from various angles and spread it to society. Their goal is to connect people through the resonance of the taiko drum.
In 2016, they earned the highest grade of 5 stars rating from Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
In 2017, they performed at the Yuzu 20th Anniversary Concert "Harebutai."
With the tradition and history of the Uto Big Drum as their root, they aim to reinvent and share it with the world.

Our Philosophy:
We “Yui” aspire to be an entity that connects people's souls through the sound of taiko drums. "Yui" refers to「紬」 "tsumugi" which becomes stronger with threads of varying thickness. The reading "yui" derives from 「結」"yu" which means regional council organization.
「結」"yu" once existed all over Japan. It was a bond to live. It was heart and soul that we can confirm our ties. We wish to have fun and create something with our companions who miraculously gathered and live in the same era.
The bottom line is “to live”, “to create”, and “to learn”.
